Richard's early life was marked by poverty and childhood trauma, leading him to face numerous challenges. Despite failing out of school in the 8th grade, his exceptional talent as a rapper gained him a promising reputation. However, the harsh realities of his circumstances led him down a dangerous path in the drug game, eventually resulting in his incarceration.
But Richard's story didn't end there. Determined to break free from destructive cycles, he dedicated himself to education and self-improvement. Against all odds, he earned both a bachelor's and master's degree, and he is currently a doctoral candidate. Today, Richard is an internationally recognized trauma and healing expert, drawing upon his own experiences to create positive change. Richard's commitment to helping men heal is rooted in what he describes as his most important role as a father to his two sons, Kaleb and Kaden.
